Video Bore Inspection System (VBIS) for 155mm Cannons Specification The Video Bore Inspection System (VBIS) is intended to be used with existing government-owned Laser Bore Inspection System (LBIS) measurement equipment. The initial delivery shall be a prototype that enables at a minimum, inspection of the full bore length of 155mm cannons. Deliverables shall be followingAll hardware and software required to operate the prototype shall be delivered to YPG, including at a minimum:1. One prototype 155mm Bore Camera Scanner VBIS Camera Unit with side-facing and down-bore cameras2. One custom umbilical cable with 48 V PoE power3. One upgrade to government-owned Self-Propelled Sensor Delivery Unit, including 20TB hard drive storage and a workspace for operating the VBIS on existing government-owned LP-6000 instruments4. A report summarizing camera performance, plus a description of recommended improvements and any required changes to add VBIS compatibility for 105mm and 120mm cannon bores and chambers, and rigid delivery stages.Camera Unit? High-resolution Side-facing Camera. This camera shall have a resolution of 12MPixels or better, focused on the bore surface with a surface field of view of approximately 30 degrees, with adjustable resolution for still images and video. The camera should support 1080p video at 11 frames per second, and full resolution at 6 frames per second. The radial focus range should be at least 3.05 to 3.25 inches (77.5 - 82.5mm)? Down-bore Camera. This camera shall have a resolution of 5MPixels or better, imaging the bore of the tube. The camera should support 1080p video at 52 frames per second and full resolution at 22 frames per second, with a fixed focus and field of view of at least 120 degrees, depending on the lens selected.
