Special Notice Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Procurement
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17, for Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 17 in Arlington, TXĂ 76006, intends to issue a sole source award to MDXHealth, Inc., located at 15279 Alton Parkway, St. 100, Irvine, CA 92618.
This procurement action requires contractor to provide gene expression assay and Oncotype DX testing for cancers of the prostate for VISN 17, for the Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Service (P&LMS) for the VA Amarillo Healthcare System, VA Central Texas Healthcare System, VA El Paso Healthcare System, South Texas Veterans Healthcare System, VA North Texas Healthcare System, VA Texas Valley Coastal Bend Healthcare System and the West Texas VA Health Care System (collectively VISN 17).
The Contractor shall:
A. Provide gene expression assay and Oncotype DX testing for cancers of the prostate.
B. Contractor s laboratory must provide Oncotype DX genomic oncology testing/perform analysis.
C. Have all licenses, permits, accreditation certificates required by Federal law and State law.
The VA intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 13.501(a)(2)(i). The VA anticipates awarding contract on or near September 01, 2026. The projected period of performance will be from 10/01/2026 to 09/31/2027.
