Description
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division intends to negotiate award of afollow-on sole source, Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Indefinite Delivery IndefiniteQuantity (IDIQ) single award contract with the Canadian Commercial Corporation(CCC) on behalf of Lockheed Martin Canada (LMC), to provide VISTA™ simulationservices in support of the Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC),Dahlgren, VA. This requirement will be solicited in accordance with the authority of 10U.S. C 2304 (c) (1) and FAR Part 6.302-1 (a) (2) (iii), Only One Responsible Source.The subject requirement includes the modernization, maintenance and upgrade ofcomputer-based equipment simulations in support of technician training using simulatedtechnical training equipment. The Synthetic Maintenance Trainers (SMTs) are designedwith fault scenarios representative of those experienced on the actual equipment. TheSMTs are visual and aural characterizations of a device, equipment, subsystem or systempresented on a personal computer so that the external behaviors or actions/reactionsattributes are representative of the behaviors of the actual device/system.
