Description:
The County of Volusia, Transit Services, is accepting proposals for the purchase and installation of four In-Ground Bus Lifts. Project requirements include the removal and disposal of the current bus lifts and the supply and installation of the 4 (four) new bus lifts. There are four inground lifts in place currently. All four are inoperable and need to be removed and replaced. The lifts are used for large fixed route buses and smaller cutaway buses as described in the summary.Lifts must be able to accommodate the following type of vehicles: 2010 through 2013 -35 ft. HYBRID EV40 Low Floor Gillig Bus Height: 143” Wheelbase: 230.0”. Unladen Weight: 29,980 lbs. 2015 through 2023-35 ft. Low Floor Gillig Buses Height: 126” Wheelbase: 230.0”.
