Description:
Description :The Town of Warren seeks bids from qualified contractors for the construction of a well for the new community garden located at the corner of Schoolhouse Rd/Kinnicutt Ave (Map 20, Lot 5). The Town is looking to drill a well to provide water for irrigation to the garden. The vendor will provide all services and materials necessary for a functional, efficient, compliant system that meets all applicable standards and requirements. The Town of Warren hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award in any contract entered pursuant to this advertisement. The Community Garden Well Project specifications may be obtained through the Town-s website: https://www.townofwarren-ri.gov/residents/employment_proposals/index.php. Bid Documents are made available only to obtain offers for this project. Their use does not grant a license or permit for other purposes. Sealed bids for Community Garden Well will be received by the Town of Warren, Rhode Island, in the office of the Town Clerk, 514 Main Street, until 11:00 am on Thursday February 27, 2025, after which time they will be publicly opened and read in the Town Clerks Office, 1st Floor of the Town Hall Building (514 Main Street, Warren, RI). The Town of Warren reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality and accept the proposal deemed in the best interest of the Town.
