- Description : The Department of State Hospitals Metropolitan is currently seeking bids for a contractor to perform Waste Disposal Services. Contractor shall provide all necessary materials, supplies, tools, equipment, transportation, licenses, permits, insurance and personnel to provide waste and debris disposal and recyclable material, food waste and organic waste collection and recycling services. For purpose of this Agreement, organic waste is defined as food waste, green waste, landscape and pruning waste, nonhazardous wood waste, and food-soiled paper waste that is mixed in with food waste. Recyclable materials include metal/tin food cans and containers; cardboard, household containers with plastic codes 1 or 2; and plastic, glass and aluminum bottles and containers.Please see the attached Invitation for Bid (#25-20029-000).
