Description
DLA TROOP SUPPORT, CONSTRUCTION AND EQUIPMENT SUPPLY CHAIN HAS A REQUIREMENT FOR THE FILTER, WATER, PURIFI COMMERCIALLY KNOWN AS A MILITARY IN-LINE WATER FILTER UNDER NSN: 4610-01-542-3842. THIS REQUIREMENT WILL BE SOLICITED THROUGH A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP), WITH THE INTENT OF AWARDING AN INDEFINITE DELIVERY, INDEFINITE QUANTITY CONTRACT WITH A TWO-YEAR BASE, AND 3-ONE YEAR OPTIONS TERMS. THE IN-LINE WATER FILTER IS DESIGNED TO ALLOW USERS TO QUICKLY COLLECT UNFILTERED DRINKING WATER INTO THE BUILT-IN RESERVOIR AND FILTER IT AS THEY DRINK. THIS ACQUISITION WILL BE ISSUED AS UNRESTRICTED UNDER FAR 13.5 PROCEDURES, DUE TO THE COMMERCIALITY OF THIS ITEM. “PRICE ONLY” SOURCE SELECTION PROCEDURES WILL BE UTILIZED. THIS IS A DLA DIRECT ACQUISITION WITH A REQUIRED DELIVERY OF 90 DAYS ADO. THIS REQUIREMENT IS SUBJECT TO THE BUY AMERICAN/BALANCE OF PAYMENT PROGRAM.
