• 1. Purpose: This is a Sources Sought Notice issued for market research purposes only in accordance with FAR Part 10. This notice is not a solicitation and does not constitute a commitment by the Government to award a contract. The Government is conducting market research to determine whether sources other than the manufacturer of the UV-6201 ChemScan (In-Situ, Inc.) can provide a comparable water quality monitoring system meeting the requirements described below. The Government will not reimburse for cost associated with responses.2. Requirement Overview: The Government intends to procure a water quality monitoring system for installation at the Ohmsett National Oil Spill Response Research & Renewable Energy Test Facility.The anticipated scope may include:-System design/configuration tailored to the Ohmsett Facility operations-Manufacture or supply of the monitoring unit-Delivery and on-site installation-Integration with existing SCADA automation systems-Calibration, commissioning, and testing-Technical documentation and training (if required)The Government is seeking information on products equal to the UV-6201 capable of meeting these requirements.3. Minimum Salient Characteristics:Any proposed "equal" product must meet or exceed the following:-Continuous, real-time UV spectrophotometric water quality analysis-Multi-parameter capability suitable for operational water monitoring-Suitable for continuous deployment in an operational test facility environment-Automated fouling mitigation/cleaning capability-Real-time data output and logging functionality-Full compatibility with existing SCADA systems at the Ohmsett Facility-Ability to transmit data via industry-standard protocols (e.g., Modbus TCP/IP, OPC, or equivalent)-Capability to support automated control logic and alarm integration within SCADA-Technical support for configuration and commissioning within existing control architecture-Compliance with applicable electrical and environmental standardsVendors must c...
