Sealed Bids For Construction Of The Water System Improvements Contract A: Meter Installation Services Will Be Received Until November 11, 2025, At 2:00 Pm At Sylvester City Hall, 101 North Main Street, Sylvester, Georgia 31791, At Which Time And Place They Will Be Publicly Opened And Read Aloud. Any Bid Received After Said Time And Date Will Not Be Considered By The Owner. No Bid May Be Withdrawn After The Closing Time For The Receipt Of Bids For A Period Of Sixty (60) Days Except As Specifically May Be Provided In The Instructions To Bidders And/or By State Law. The Work Shall Generally Consist Of The Following: Providing All Appurtenances And Performing All Labor To Install +/- 2,750 Water Meters Sized ¾¿ And 1¿, +/- 70 Water Meters (sized 1-1/2¿ And 2¿, +/- 15 Water Meters Sized 3¿ ¿ 8¿, Backflow Preventers, Meter Box Replacements, Registers, And All Other Requirements To Complete The Project In Accordance With The Specifications. The Work Will Have A Contract Time Of 240 Days. Funding Is To Be Provided By The Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Administered By The Georgia Environmental Finance Authority.
