Shaw AFB installed a water filtration system which utilizes Purofine PFA694E. The base is performing market research to determine the availability of testing labs who can perform an analysis for PFAS levels for unfinished water withdrawn from 3 sample ports of the filtration system to determine the rate of exhaustion for the media. Testing shall be performed quarterly with 1 sample from each port. Testing shall be consistent throughout the life of the contract.
