Description:
The project consists of the installation of one (1) new variable speed horizontal split-case water distribution system pump (5,000 gpm), along with the associated piping, valves, and appurtenances, and associated electrical, instrumentation, and control facilities. The project is located at the following address: City of Hollywood, Water Treatment Plant, 3441 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood, Florida 33021. The new high service pump provides for the replacement of the existing pumps. The work shall be provided while maintaining operation of the existing high service pump station. Upgrades also include:SCADA and Electrical system upgrades to transition from constant speed high services pumps to variable speed pumps that will provide constant discharge pressure, including modifications to existing distribution switchgear, associated MCC improvements and other electrical improvements.Associated building improvements.Demolition and abandonment of existing Aeration Building Pump Station equipment and associated piping; fittings, and associated valves and appurtenances as shown on the DrawingStructural modifications to the building, including a raising of the floor slab 6-inches higher
