STATE OF VERMONTDepartment of Buildings & General ServicesREQUEST FOR PROPOSALSWaterbury Historic Core Roof ReplacementProjectWaterbury, VermontDecember 2024DEPARTMENT OF BUILDINGS AND GENERAL SERVICESSTATE OF VERMONTContractors are invited to bid on the Waterbury Historic Core Roof Replacement Project forBuildings and General Services at the Waterbury Office Complex located at 280 State Drivein Waterbury, Vermont.This project consists of, but is not limited to:• Removal and disposal of existing slate roofing, copper solder seam and standing seam roofing,membrane (EPDM) roofing and associated flashings and underlayments down to existingwood decks (to remain).• Installation of new roofing, associated flashings and underlayments as indicated per plans.• Copper flat lock siding at dormers• Repair of deteriorated wood decking and trim• Treatment of rust and repainting at existing metal roof appurtenances• Installation of roof accessories including fall arrest anchors and snow guards as indicated.Sealed Bids accompanied by proper Bid Security shall be emailed to the Department of Buildings andGeneral Services, at BGS.VTBids@vermont.gov, until February 7, 2025, at 4:30 PM.Documents may be obtained from Blueprints Etc, 20 Farrell Street, South Burlington VT 05403, byphone at 802-865-4503, by fax at 802-865-0027 or email to: orders@blueprintsetc.com.
