Notice of IntentPage 2 of 2Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 21, is issuing this Notice of Intent to Sole Source in order to identify any potential sources that have the resources and capabilities to provide Preventative Maintenance and servicing for WaveMark Supply Management System. The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 21, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) (single source), intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with WaveMark Inc. for Software license maintenance/fees & service for Wavemark located at VAPAHCS in Palo Alto, CA. This notice of intent is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that the responding company can provide a certified and trained in Wavemark equipment technician and can provide past performance information reflecting that they have performed maintenance on this specific brand name equipment. Scope of Work: The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, parts, equipment, tools, travel time and transportation to provide repair, preventive maintenance, calibration, and electrical safety checks for WaveMark equipment. Services will cover repair, semiannual preventive maintenance, calibration, and annual electrical safety checks, firmware and software updates. All work is be performed completely by manufacturer s specifications and only include OEM parts and software upgrades.
