This is a notice of the Government s intent to award a sole source, open market purchase order in accordance with 41 U.S.C. § 1901, as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(2). The justification for this sole source action is the authority at FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Network Contracting Office 6 (NCO 6) intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order with WAVEMARK, INC (UEI: LGNZKY4RM3U3) for Maintenance and Support Services for the WaveMark equipment including (12) RFID Smart Cabinets and (2) Moment-of-Care (formally Point of Use) Stations. All equipment to be maintained is located at the Durham VA Medical Center (VAMC) in Durham, North Carolina. The equipment to be maintained is proprietary technology owned by WaveMark, Inc under Cardinal Health. There are no sources authorized by the manufacturer to maintain the equipment other than the manufacturer, WaveMark, Inc. The applicable NAICS code is 811210, ELECTRONIC AND PRECISION EQUIPMENT REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE (SBA Size Standard: $34.0m annual revenue). This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephonic inquiries will not be taken. However, if a party believes it can meet this requirement it must furnish information about its capability, as well as references from other customers who are using these services to the Contracting Officer by 05:30PM Eastern Time on Friday, October 3, 2025. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the required service. Responses received will be reviewed, however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
