  The Bureau of Engraving & Printing (BEP), Western Currency Facility (WCF) Contracting Branch, Services Division is issuing this Pre-Solicitation Notice for the acquisition of Security Operation and Maintenance Services at the WCF in Fort Worth, TX. This requirement will be a 100% total set aside for Small Business concerns under NAICS 561621 Security Systems Services size standard is $25.0 Million, and PSC N063 Installation of Equipment -Alarm, Signal, and Security Detection Systems. Please note:
  In order to be eligible for award, the business must be registered as a Small Business under the appropriate NAICS code in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.SAM.gov . Please verify that both your DUNS #, Cage Code are current and valid in the System for Award Management (SAM).This acquisition will be awarded as a fixed price, services contract for the everyday operations and maintenance of the security equipment and components at the Western Currency Facility, which is a 24-hour facility. The type of security equipment includes cameras, card readers, locks, safes, alarms and systems, x-ray machines, metal detectors, etc. This action will also include the repair and replacement of damaged or outdated security equipment and components (materials, parts, equipment). This contract includes 24-hour preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and emergency maintenance of the WCF Integrated Security System (ISS) and ISS components.
  This acquisition is anticipated to be a Base plus 4 option periods (Year, 12 month period) contract, not exceeding a period of performance of 5 years. The anticipated Period of Performance is April 1, 2024 - March 31, 2029.
  The anticipated solicitation period will be on/around January 29, 2024 through February 29, 2024. Offerors are reminded to carefully review solicitation documents issued as criteria is stated in the solicitation and shall govern.
