Description:
Bid Synopsis: The State of Wisconsin, Consolidated Agency Purchasing Services (CAPS) on behalf of the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs (WDVA), requests bids for the purchase of services to manage and operate the Wisconsin Veterans Home at Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin (WVH-CF), and intends to use the results of this process to award one contract as determined to be in the best interest of State. The RFB document and the awarded Bidder-s response shall become the contract unless a separate contract is executed. The contract resulting from this RFB will be administered by the WDVA. WVH-CF is a seventy-two (72) bed facility designed in the “neighborhood concept” which consists of two (2) neighborhoods each with two (2) households of eighteen (18) beds. The facility is a 78,000 square foot single story structure with a partial basement. See Appendix 2 - Facilities Floor Plan for additional background information about WVH-CF. WDVA currently operates two other Veterans homes located in King, (Central) Wisconsin and in Union Grove, (Southeastern) Wisconsin.
