  • Tenders are invited for Web-Based Active Threat Notifications Software
    Vendor needs to provide based active threat notifications software.
    - Implement a state-of-the-art software solution that will allow direct notifications and precise information to be transmitted from authorized personnel who are at the scene of the immediate threat, directly to first responders.
    - Secure Web-based Cloud Platform: The solution should include a secure online platform that enables businesses, schools and other entities to submit real-time data of threats to human life at their respective locations. The platform should ensure the confidentiality and integrity of all data exchanged.
    - Notifications to occur from within the geography of the entity authorized to transmit the information to first responders: The solution should facilitate the generation of threat alerts within the defined β€œgeo-fence” of the entity that is authorized to use the application. This geo-fence would not be greater than .25 miles surrounding the authorized entity.
    - Notifications will require the initial reporter from the scene to call 911 from the application. The application should be able to be installed on cell phones and desktops. The application will also have a command-and-control module that allows the authorized personnel to maintain direct contact with all using the application within the predetermined geo-fence during an alert activation.
