- Tenders are invited for Website Redesign Service Using WordPress CMS Vendor needs to provide website redesign service for plan, execute, and deliver the redesign of website. - The web marketing coordinator is the primary person responsible for maintaining and updating the website. • Improve structure for student recruitment (improved rate of completed actions taken such as requests for information, applications, etc.) • Responsive/mobile-friendly design with documented compatibility with commonly and popularly used mobile devices • Simplified site navigation • Development of templates for use on the site, with associated template files to be owned by the university for future use, including: - Home page with various elements including feature area for photos or video, a smaller section for news and events, and multiple menus - Top Level Features Pages for various audiences, i.e., future students, current students, faculty and staff, parents, alumni, etc. - Subpages with menus - Tertiary pages with no menu • CMS with cloud-based infrastructure or the ability to be hosted in an off-campus datacenter selected by the university (University currently uses WP Engine and would likely continue to do so) • Discovery: stakeholder interviews, focus groups, journey mapping, competitor analysis, analytics review, or other research processes necessary for a successful redesign • Content strategy: Information architecture, content models, and editorial planning • Content development: Guidance on how we can improve our content and potentially partner with redesign firm to improve specific content pieces • Search Engine Optimization (SEO) • Visual design: Work with our graphic designer, who can create needed designs based on template specs, etc. • Review homepage functionality, including news section, slider, etc. to optimize website visitor experience • Front-end development • Implementation in CMS • Content migration as necessary • Website security - demonstrate CMS and site include adequate cybersecurity measures • Post-launch and ongoing support • The site will require some plugins but for site security and optimization the number of plugins should be minimized. Needed plugins include: - YouTube and Video plugin for video embeds - Social media, including Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn, etc. - Redirect plugin (2) All the questions must be submitted no later than February 15, 2024
