- This solicitation is issued to allow Mesa Unified School District #4 the opportunity to frequent local suppliers and to purchase welding supplies, gasses, equipment and repairs on an as-needed basis for, but not limited to, the MPS Operations Department and the six MPS high schools welding shops, and MPS Career and Technical Education Departments.This bid has a Part A and Part B for pricing, and will be awarded accordingly. Vendors may submit pricing for only Part A, only Part B or both A & B.Part A: The vendors receiving award will provide welding supplies such as Oxygen, Acetylene and other gases to be filled (refilled) in new District-purchased tanks, existing District-owned tanks as well as tanks rented from vendor.Part B: The vendors receiving award will provide welding supplies such as welding rods, goggles, aprons, helmets, gloves, etc. This will also include repairs.
