The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Portland District is soliciting a Contract for Willamette Valley Downstream Fish Passage Monitoring Rotary Screw Trap Sampling & Bulk Markings project. The proposed project will be a competitive, firm-fixed price (FFP) contract.
Project Scope: The scope of this project consists of the Contractor furnishing all supervision, labor, materials, and equipment to perform the following work in accordance with the detailed requirements of this contract.
Background: On September 1, 2021, the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon issued an interim injunction that requires the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE, Corps) to implement measures intended to improve conditions for fish passage and water quality at several Willamette Valley Project (WVP) dams for the benefit of Upper Willamette River (UWR) spring Chinook salmon and UWR winter steelhead salmon during the interim period until the completion of the reinitiated Endangered Species Act (ESA) consultation.
