- NOTICE AND INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS 1. Sealed Bids will be received by the Town of Williston hereinafter referred to as the “Owner” at 7900 Williston Road, Williston, VT 05495 for performing the Work as described as follows: Williston Town Hall Parking Lot Improvements as described more fully in the Plans and Specifications. Bids will be received by the Town of Williston via email until 1:00 PM local time on Tuesday, April 8th, 2025. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bids shall be submitted to all of the following addresses: bhoar@willistonvt.org; cdougherty@willistonvt.org; jbooth@aeengineers.com; aarsenault@aeengineers.com; Bids received electronically past the bid due date and time will be considered late and thus will not be included in the bid tabulation. Bidders are required to confirm receipt once a bid has been submitted. A bid tabulation will be released to all bidders within 5 business days. 2. All Bids must be made on the blank form of the proposal attached hereto. No lines on the BID may be left blank. BIDS shall not be faxed. Failure to fully complete the BID will render the Bidder non-responsive, and the BID will not be read. In the event there is any discrepancy in the PROPOSAL between any price in words, figures, or the extended totals, the price in words shall govern and the extended totals in each case shall be corrected accordingly. 3. A Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of 5% of the total BID submitted must accompany the BID. Failure to submit such with the BID will render the Bidder non-responsive, and BID will not be read. 4. A Bidder may withdraw any proposal submitted prior to the hour set for the closing of the Bids provided the request is signed in a manner identical with the proposal being withdrawn.
