• Description:
• Pinellas County requires a new contract to support the continued delivery of exterior window cleaning services across a diverse portfolio of County-owned and County-leased facilities. These services are necessary to maintain building appearance, preserve exterior materials, support visibility and safety, and uphold professional standards for County facilities accessed by employees, residents, and the public.The resulting contract will support recurring annual window cleaning services at approximately 75 locations countywide, representing a broad range of facility types including administrative offices, judicial facilities, emergency response buildings, public safety and law enforcement campuses, courthouses, public service centers, cultural and community facilities, operational buildings, and storage or support structures. These locations vary significantly in size and elevation, ranging from single-story sites to buildings up to ten (10) floors in height, requiring the Contractor to utilize appropriate lift equipment, safety systems, and trained personnel capable of performing work in accordance with OSHA, ANSI/IWCA I-14, and applicable safety regulations.In addition to the scheduled annual cleaning, the County may request services outside the regular schedule to support operational needs, special events, or site-specific conditions. The selected vendor must be equipped to respond to County requests, coordinate work at multiple sites, and perform services during approved working hours with no disruption to daily facility operations.Establishing this contract ensures continuity of service, consistent cleaning standards, documented before-and-after inspection procedures, and a reliable mechanism for requesting additional work when needed. The contract will provide the County with a qualified vendor capable of meeting the technical, safety, logistical, and operational demands associated with maintaining windows across multiple facilities throughout the County.
