This Request for Information (RFI) is for planning purposes only and is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP), Invitation for Bid (IFB), or an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. Responses to this RFI are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.
The purpose of the RFI is to gather information from industry in regard to Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Contracting Services Office - Richmond (DCSO-R), on behalf of The DLA Information Operations (J6), is seeking sources to establish a capable and interested vendor pool to provide Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) Wireless Services via the Open Market.
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is a United States (US) Department of Defense (DoD) agency that provides worldwide logistics support for the missions of the Military Departments and the Unified Combatant Commands under conditions of peace and war. The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Information Operations is an Information Technology (IT) support organization within the Department of Defense (DOD). DLA has a requirement for wireless service and equipment. Wireless Carrier Services include Smartphones and Mobile Broadband service for Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) support managed by DLA Information Operations for Germany, Spain, and the United Kingdom. Roaming services are required for when DLA personnel travel to other OCONUS locations and to the Continental United States (CONUS).
