Description
The Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Command, Contracting Department, Virginia Beach, VA 23459 intends to award a Firm Fixed Price sole source contract to MSAB Incorporated for training and certification in the use of MSAB XRY 10.5, and XAMN 7.5 as the sole distributor of this proprietary software.Training for this software supports the PEO-SR's direction to support and sustain the FSE CPP kitted equipment. The XRY software is proprietary to MSAB, Inc and is part of a USSOCOM Identity Intelligence and Exploitation (I2E) Program of Record. Market research revealed no other training support for the certification is available. The sole source training/certification will be acquired in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and 13.5 - Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items.The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 611699. The size standard is $16.5 million.THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. A determination by the Government not to compete the propose requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not notify respondents of the results of the information received.
