THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES. The G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Jackson, MS has a requirement titled "Repurpose Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy (PT-OT) Space for Inventory Management and Distribution (IMD)” for project number 586-22-101, per issue for construction Drawings and Specifications. This acquisition will be solicited pursuant to the Veterans' First Public Law 109-461 as a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside (SDVOSB). At least 15 percent of the cost of the contract performance incurred for personnel shall be spent on the concern's employees or the employees of other eligible SDVOSB concerns.
A firm fixed price construction contract award is anticipated. Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, tools, equipment, expertise, administration, transportation and supervision necessary to completely renovate approximately 9,593 square feet of the former PT-OT area to serve as the new inventory management space. All construction work must adhere to the latest JCAHO, NFPA, OSHA and life safety requirements. All construction work must be performed without affecting medical centers- operations. Work includes construction labor and supervision for mechanical, structural, electrical, demolition, plumbing and other work as required by the government provided construction plans and specifications.
