YAO Grounds MaintenancePRE-SOLICITATION NOTICEThis is a Pre-Solicitation Notice with the intent of synopsizing a proposed contract action prior to issuance of the solicitation. Specific instructions on submitting your proposal will be contained in the solicitation documents to be issued on or about April 21, 2025, posted toSAM.gov website. No documents will be available until the solicitation is issued.The U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI), Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation), Lower Colorado Region has a requirement for grounds maintenance to include all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and other items and services necessary to ensure grounds maintenance is performed at the Yuma Area Office. Work consists of year-round, season-specific grounds maintenance to include an initial clean up, watering, trimming, fertilizing, weed control, tree and hedge pruning and shaping, tree maintenance, cultivating, fertilizing, planting, maintenance of flowerbeds/Xeriscaped areas, and other improved areas. The work includes spraying of pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, and cleaning of sidewalks, steps, patio, ramadas, road areas, photovoltaic parking structure (including solar panels), and maintenance of irrigation system.Contractor must also have a licensed or certified arborist on staff and must maintain herbicide and pesticide applicator's license and certifications under Arizona Pest Management Division.
