- The Georgia Department Of Agriculture (gda), Plant Protection Division, Is Seeking To Establish A Contract With A Supplier To Provide Aerial Yellow-legged Hornet (ylh) Nest Treatment & Renewal Services In Savannah, Georgia And The Surrounding Areas. Yellow-legged Hornet (ylh) Activity In The Savannah Area Has Increased With The Establishment Of Embryo Nests. The Goal Of The Georgia Department Of Agriculture (gda) Is To Eradicate This Invasive Pest, Which Threatens Native Pollinators (honey Bees) And Our State's #1 Industry - Agriculture. Upon Award, This Will Be An Open Agency Contract With Service Orders Placed On An As-needed Basis. The Term For This Contract Shall Be For One (1) Year With Four (4) Options To Renew.
