This is a notice of a proposed contract action under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This notice is for information only. This is not a Request for Quotation. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334511 (Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing) with a small business size standard of 1,350 employees.
The Government requires the procurement and installation of one (1) composite radome fall arrest Zenith Panel assembly for the AN/FPS-124 Short Range Radar at the Lab-4 site in Canada. This is an urgent requirement as the Zenith Panel currently installed at this site is no longer compliant with the approved design specifications and technical data. This presents safety risks to personnel working at the site which need to be addressed. The Government intends to make a single-source award for this requirement to Infinite Technologies RCS Inc. (ITI), as they are the sole providers and installers of the fall arrest Zenith Panel assembly. The applicable items and quantities associated with this procurement are as follows:
Radome, Zenith Panel -- Qty 1 Lightning Rod and hardware, plates, extra down conductor -- Qty 1 Clear Dome & Mounting Kit, captive hardware -- Qty 1 Photocell Control, OBS Light - 120v hardware -- Qty 1 Fall Arrest Hardware -- Qty 1 Wood Crate and supplies -- Qty 1This acquisition also requires the following services:
